BrightStar Lasers, Inc. of Lake Arrowhead, CA announces the addition of a new "super-size"
laser cutter to their product lineup. The new C-9600 has an cutting area
of 48" x 96" allowing it to handle a full sheet of acrylic or other material. The standard
60 watt C02 laser will cut acrylic up to .5" thick. An optional 80 watt C02 laser
boosts cutting capacity to .75" acrylic.
The C-9600 accepts files from many popular drawing
and CAD programs including Illustrator, Corel Draw, Photoshop and Autocad. The unit ships
complete with honeycomb cutting table, exhaust fan and chiller. BrightStar covers the C-9600
with an all-inclusive two-year warranty. C-9600's will be available in the U.S. by special order
beginning in June, 2008.
